Marc has worked in various fields of Electronics Engineering for 27 years, and he has been working in research and development of media technologies since 1996. Marc obtained his BEng degree from Birmingham City University in 1992 and his PhD from King's College London in 1996. During this time, Marc has also pursued his interests in theories of the embodied mind and influence/persuasion, which provide unique perspectives on aspects of media technology such as storytelling and physical interfaces.
Marc has participated in a variety of industry/academic collaborative projects, providing technical/software development and technical leadership in areas such as graphics, game engine development, and digital storytelling.
Marc has acted as industrial advisor for 3 PhDs in Electronics Engineering and Computer Science, and 3 PhDs in Arts (virtual environments and mobile video).
